People who don't take care of their kids...

Oh my gosh, Kat, that story just crushes me. Oh that is so horrible. Oh man.

I can't believe the mother didn't even miss that child and that they didn't discover the child missing until the father arrived home, 2 hours? That poor kid. Those parents need some common sense drilled into them.

From what we were able to find out, these delightful parents had moved at least 10 times in the past 5 years and had been warned by at least two other police departments about not caring for their son (which is why they were finally ordered to go to parenting classes).

And, worse - the father is a pediatrician! You'd think that a man who makes his living taking care of children would know that you don't leave your 5 year old outside in the snow!

Unfortunately they moved so we don't know if the little boy is once again stuck outside daily after school. He was a sweet little guy too - but the parents - grrrrrr! I just don't understand people like that - if you don't want the responsibilities of having a child, then use some birth control!
