Question Ever Used a Snow Blower?

Hee hee hee hee....well I did for the first time today and lemme tell ya, first lesson I learned~ do not position the "blower" into the wind! LOL!
Ok, I didn't really want to use the darn thing...I hear hubby raising heck (understatement) EVERY TIME he tries starting it..primer button has a crack so you have to spray starting fluid on the spark plug and such...something which I have never had the need to do, but I guess I did it right because it started on the first try. Well...I seriously did not think I could even get it started, imagine my surprise when it fired up and I am standing there w/o any coat, just a light weight sweater...LOL! I wanted to get the snow removed at LEAST in the larger section outside of my garage door, otherwise...well...let's just say my car would have been sucked under. LOL! The kids have not seen or used the big snow shovel, which means "Mommy, we used it to shovel snow off of the creek, but are claiming innocence."
I wrote Kenny and told him I got the deepest snow out of the drive...here's his reply:

Hee hee...I'm going to assume he's in a little shock right now! That's just about worth getting buried in a self made drift! LOL!

How much did you get? They had said we would get around 1 to 4...we got a little over an inch...I think

more coming Sat. though! glad it isn't going to be bad Thurs..we have to go back to Cin. and have to see both Drs. at 2 different hospitals. That means we will spend 2 to 3 hrs getting there, 3 to 4 hrs. (at least) at one Dr. then 40 min or so to other Dr. ..3 to 4 hrs there, then the drive home. will be lucky to get home by 9:30 or 10. the Dr. we see last is open sometimes till 6 or later. But he is a very good Dr. and has LOTS of patients..he is sooo good with Boo.

Momma Mary...I'd have to guess about 3 1/2 to 4"...heck yesterday morning they said our county wasn't going to get any...NOT! It snowed from 7 last night to a little after 9 this morning. One good thing, there was VERY little wind so we didn't get the drifting on top of the snowfall. Kenny's tire tracks this morning were about 8+ inches deep...yesterday you could see the stone so....it was a lot of snow! LOL!

Awwww...well you guys have a safe trip! Give little Boo Bear a hug for me!!!!

It must be my week of firsts I also just changed my first headlight ever...LOL! I know it sounds simple, but...well...seems like a lot of work for one little headlight. You have to take off the entire black casing deal that goes around all three lights just to get to one light. A couple of good things, it has those little level looking things so you don't have any guess work and also when your finger are frozen, it doesn't hurt near as much when you slip w/ the screwdriver LOL!

(((mouse))) you stay warm! had a safe trip....was exhausted when we got back. We left home about 7 and got home about 6 (I think it was)...last Dr. was out sick and they had called her cell phone to cancel..well, we was at the other Dr. and she don't get sevice in Cin (cricket)..so we went to the app. and another Dr. saw him. we got their message about 5 p.m. It is more work just sitting and sitting and waiting than doing a real job!! He got his new braces. He picked them out and had dragons put on them. The Dr. said his foot had growed over an inch since last time. He is growing tooooooo fast!! he weighs 65 pounds now and is 4 foot tall!!

Good for another month!!

an inch or so coming tonight here, but in 30's tomorrow!! I'm glad because we are going to oldest dd's house in West Carollton and to the big sale at Dayton Convention Center.
