Do you paint your nails?

How about toenails? I paint my rarely, because I have such a bad habit of picking the skin around my nails! But now I have accountability, I have told all of you!

Toes I paint in the summer. The whole toe of course. NOT! hehe. My friend and I were arguing, because I will paint my toes in pinks cuz I think dark colors are old ladyish, and she only paints in reds because she says that is more youthful!

I know, I am silly tonight, but I still want to know baby.

I just chip them, I do have tons of polish though.

I rarely paint my fingernails because I prefer a more natural look. When I take the time, I will do a french manicure. Toes...oh yeah. Year round. The brightest red I can find...lol. I will occasionally go for an off the wall color like green or blue...just because I can...lol.

I don't paint my toes and fingers to match either. If I decide I want red on my fingers, I will switch to something else on my toes.

Yes, I do the toes. In winter I go with Red or some funky color. In the summer I usually don't do red. As for manicures, I paint my fingers in the summer more and only if I'm going out. Then I'll paint my toes to match.

I get my nails done every 2 weeks when get paid. It is my treat to myself for my hard work. I usually just have either a French or American manicure, but for special occasions & holidays I use color. Once every month I get a pedicure also but usually only use colored polish on the toenails in the summer. Winter time I just have a clear coat put on them.

I take spells...I'll paint my finger and toe nails for a while, then I remove it and let them "air out". I heard it wasn't good to have them painted all the time because the nails need air.

i have painted my fingernails for so long i dont remember a time they werent cxolored! gosh i know for 15-20 years...after the youngest of the kids didnt need so much washing and the house didnt need such extreme scrubbing.l i have decals i use plus i have mood changing polish as well as glow in the dark paint...thats a lot of fun! i dont do my toes much cuz its too hard to get down there....special occasions i make an effort and do them but i do pay special care to my feet, moisturizing and keeping the nails neat looking...i dont like long toenails. they tear holes in hosiery!

If I'm going someplace special I'll paint my nails, other than that I don't bother. Toenails, I never paint them.

I dont bother with fingernail polish, as it begins chipping the very next day, it even happens after a manicure. I generally paint my toes frequently in summer, but during the winter, Ill paint once, and then wait until all the color is gone before I paint again. Lately I have been using the silver foil nailpolish...

Hardly ever, but I had a manicure and pedicure today. My brother and his wife are coming into Phoenix from the bitter cold NJ tundra for a week starting monday. Felt like not bothering to do my own. I never wear polish, but she put a clear/pink on. I keep my nails excessively short, and my toenails are down to the quick. I hate long toenails. ugh.

I also have one nail on my right thumb that had a frostbitten finger long ago when living in the midwest. Very tender, won't grow, has red line, no infection but very weak nail. So I keep them all short to match up, plus I do a lot of my own gardening, cleaning (actually all my own cleaning and I'm a fanatic about having things neat!)...

I treat myself to a manicure/ pedicure twice a year. Other than that I never do my fingernails. My toenails I do alot during warmer months, because I wear sandals all the time due to arthritis in one of my toes that makes closed shoes uncomfortable. Makes shoe buying easy tho, Nikes or sandals. That's it.
