Oh my goodness! I just got done watching Americal Idol from last night (we taped it) and tonight! I don't think anyone should double up on the audition shows like that! ROFL

I told my DH my new catch phrase was "love me tender....love me long"

Plus, I don't think I will EVER be able to listen to the Star Spangled Banner the same way!

I think it is all funny. That one guy had a higher voice than any female I know. I can't get enough of that show.

Same as Cujo's for tonight. That guy had to have the highest voice of any man I have ever heard. The weirdest thing though was that he talked just like he singed...lol

Last night's winner for me was the guy they left outside singing in the street. That was hilarious! "It's oVeR. It'S oVer." I was dying laughing when Ryan just walked off and left him there. LMBOOOO

The twin girls were awesome!!! I had to turn it off last night. I am a musician/vocalist and it literally hurt my ears to listen to these people. I am sure I missed a few good ones, but the bad far outweighed the good.

I'll wait till they've weeded out a few more before I start watching again

I thought the prior night was funnier when the girl sang the Righteous Brothers' tune in slow motion. The video clips they added made me laugh, with time lapse photography of leaves falling off the trees, etc.

I'm just amazed at how delusional some people are! First, they REALLY BELIEVE they have a singing voice or some talent, or why would they bother sleeping overnight outdoors in freezing temperatures before the auditions? Then when told bluntly they don't have any talent, they argue that they do! Then when rejected, they convince themselves that they are "still going to Hollywood" and that they're scheduled for another audition! If they watched themselves on the last 2 shows, would they get an inkling that they have no talent, or would they still be in denial? Is this just wishful thinking or an unstable mental condition?

They really should invest in a tape recorder, record their voice, then listen to it like they listen to any CD they have, then they'd know they were bad singers.

I have never laughed sooo hard at something on television! It was hysterical....pure comedy! My favorite was the editing during the longest version of Unchained Melody! Dh just thought it was a riot, too, and said he was actually embarrassed for these people just watching it! We just can't get over the fact that some of these people really do think they're good.

I didn't watch it last season and probably won't when they get past these funny auditions and on to the people who are actually really good, but I do have to say that I am diggin' Simon!

When I'm watching I just keep thinking... Don't these people have any friends? Or family? Or anyone who could have told them ... YOU CAN'T SING!!!
