Where are the Top Ten from AMERICAN IDOL: THE SEARCH FOR A SUPERSTAR, the hottest show of summer 2002? In AMERICAN IDOL SPECIAL (working title), a special half-hour program airing January 21st (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX, find out what happened after the show ended, what being on tour was really like and what the future holds for these finalists.

The special includes interviews with AMERICAN IDOL winner Kelly Clarkson and finalist Justin Guarini from the set of their new movie "From Justin to Kelly." Tamyra Gray talks about what life has been like since the show ended and her new role on BOSTON PUBLIC. Other finalists talk about how life has changed since AMERICAN IDOL.

The special directly follows the premiere of the second season of AMERICAN IDOL Tuesday, January 21st (8:00-9:30 PM ET/PT), on FOX.

I only missed one show last season, when Tamyra was voted off, because I fell asleep. lol But the beginning is the best. I was glued to the set. Told everyone in the house to "shut up' loudly. lol You'll enjoy it Naomi.

I'll definitely be watching.

The beginning of the season is always my favorite because it's hysterical watching them review people who auditioned but have absolutely no musical talent. (I don't have any either)

I can not stop laughing!! The hairdresser is the best one so far. BTW Simon is not mean!! He speaks his mind and most people don't. I wish more people would say what they believe. The guy that got kicked out of the audition room for lying seems like he has a mental problem.

OMG...watching it now! Have laughed and had goosebumps all within a few minutes...ummm..more laughter tho! LOL! I love this! I love Simon...as sick as that may be! LOL! I'm sure I would feel differently if I was standing there being embarrassed but of course, I can't sing a lick so I SHOULD be embarrassed if I would ever think I could be an "American Idol"..LOL!

Thank God it isn't busy tonight at work... I was able to watch the entire show without interruption. Now, I'm watching the follow-up thing.

Usually don't watch these type of shows, but I saw tonight.
Regarding the new one's that they picked-Two of them particularly stood out in my mind-Im sure others were great also.
I thought the Rayannis that right?) she had dark black hair,
and the Lady from Texas-Blondish Hair-she really had a unusual
voice-I bet she could belt out a great Jazz related song. Anyone
else have favorite??
