Shocked SNOW SNOW SNOW AND MORE SNOW!!

Well it is SNOWING here like you wouldn't believe! They say we could get up to 8 inches. All the schools are closed, some daycares are closed, some public agencies are closed, and they are warning people to stay home. There has been over 30 accidents reported already (per the tv) and I tell you I hear sirens every few minutes so there is something going on out there.

Hubby told me to stay home and close the store today. He called me when he got to work this morning and he said the roads were horrible and he saw 2 accidents so he told me he doubted that I would have any business anyway. He ran by there and put a sign up on the door and said he noticed several other businesses had signs up that they would be closed due to the snow.

They also say we should see what they call thunder and lightening snow. I can't say I have seen or heard any of that yet. But when I do I will let you know! lol

Here in Minnesota, we call it "Thunder snow" and what it usually means is that you are in for SEVERAL INCHES of the white stuff! I love it when it thunder snows, but I would not know what that is about this year because we have gotten a grand total of 5 inches since the first of November. Sounds like the Eastern Sates are getting all ur snow this year!!!

SEND IT BACK PLEASE!!

I am getting used to no snow! LOL The snowboard is not getting any use, but neither is the snow blower and that is a good thing. I only dread that we will miss spring like we did last year and that is worse than the snow IMO.

Too much snow can be a pain.
Be careful.

Enjoy your day off. Your dh is right. Not many people will venture out anyway. Better to be stuck at home than stuck in an empty store.

Southeastern Connecticut is supposed to get snow tonight, well, that's where we live. The moon was all hazy so I figure they must be right. It's supposed to start after midnight and continue throughout tomorrow. They said they think it'll be light, I sure hope so.

BillMrs, you were right to stay home and not open the store, better to be safe in weather like that . I doubt you lost a lot of business. I'll bet people are at home today, keeping warm.
