It's that time of year again, the annual Barbershop concert! Here's a list w/concerts

Yes, as corny as that sounds, it's really alot of fun. My DH takes me each year. There are always 2 barbershop quartets who have won the national competitions, plus a group from a college and a barbershop chorus. Sometimes the audience gets to participate sing along, and the antics the performers do will have you in stitches. The songs are from around the 1920's on up to the present. One year they did a take off on Old time radio shows back when there was no TV, so they had sound effects for the thunder, and shoes they would move for someone coming through the door. It was sooo funny! We even get to meet the artists, get their autographs and purchase their CDs. It's a fun afternoon. If you haven't been to a barbershop concert, trust me, you'll love it!

We had a great time! This was the first year it didn't snow or have an ice storm. We treated one of my girlfriends to lunch and the show. She loved it, had such a good time. Only thing 'though, was that there was this old lady sitting in back of her that told her to put her hair in front of her, my friend has very long hair. Then my friend lay her jacket on her chair so the collar of it was just a bit over the back. That lady kept pushing my friend's jacket up each time she did leaned it against her chair. My friend was very annoyed, but being as nice as she is, didn't say anything. I didn't realize what was going on otherwise I would have switched seats with her. A lady in front of me had her coat draped the same way. It wasn't hurting anything and I really could have cared less. Guess some people just love to complain.
