Okay, for the past month my doctor has been telling me that this child would be early. Now, with two weeks left to go, he's saying she won't be. Argh!

And I have this horrible hacking cough cold on top of being 8 and a half months pregnant.

I know every pregnant woman goes through this around this time, but I'm done! Ready to have my little girl and start the next adventure!

If only castor oil didn't sound so scary....

Be patient! Take some of this time to prepare, or treat yourself to a good dinner or movie or something. Once the baby is born it doesn't get easier physically, but seeing the baby is reward! Hang in there!

I had Chicken Pox/Shingles(extremely painful) at the very end of my first pregnancy, nothing like sitting in the Dermatologist's office getting the sores on your VERY PREGNANT belly biopsied

Feel better, before you know this will all be a memory and you'll be holding your precious lil bundle in your arms!

It's been eight years since I was pregnant...but boy do I remember that last month!!! All the pressure, I swear when I got up to go pee at night (4-5 times of course!)...I remember it just felt like everything was going to fall out!!

So you are having a little girl. Awwww...that is so cool. You know after my kids were born, I actually missed being pregnant. I liked being able to feel them kick and move. Enjoy the time you have left......

Today was my first day of maternity leave. I had cut back, but being on my feet for 30 hours a week was still way too much.

I just hope she's on time or early 'cause if she's too late, I'm not sure we'll be able to afford me being out of work long enough to truly recouperate.

I actually got some stuff accomplished in the baby's room today. Other days I've been way too tired after work to get anything done. As soon as the baby's laundry is done, the hospital bag will be complete. Next task is to finish organizing her room and then to stock the freezer with meals so we don't have to worry about cooking for awhile. And I need to clean the house (it's kinda gone by the wayside lately). Oh, and I need to get rid of this cold! Argh!

I just like that I can sleep ANY time I want because I have NO obligations except to take care of myself.

I can remember eating at such crazy times, hard when babies don't have their days/nights straight

Naomi, exactly why I started with batches of soups. Grab the big container out of the freezer, and heat up a bowl whenever there's time. I'm also making pancakes that can be thrown in the toaster and muffins and things that can be easily eaten without any further prep. I just don't want to be too tempted to send hubby out for fast food. Gets expensive and it's not even good for me. Ick.

For tonight though, it's just me, the tv, and the computer. No more work today. The last time in my life I have a good excuse to be lazy and I intend to use it!
