Underwater Cameras - Help Please

Do any of you know if there are cheap cameras that can be used underwater?

I would like to get my hands on one for my trip to Cancun in February.

Any help would be appreciated!

I know that Kodak makes a disposable kind. Or they used to at least...I think they still do.

When I went to Australia 5 years ago, I brought one to take pics of the coral at the great barrier reef. The pics came out good.

Good luck!

Went to Hawaii and wanted underwater cameras for snorkeling. They come in disposable, which is probably the most convenient. I know Fuji makes them since that's what we got, but they are pretty spendy ... about $8-9 at Walmart (with 24-27 exposures each). The good thing is you develop them just like regular film.
The second time we went, we bought an underwater camera (on sale, but still $60). It takes special film (APS) which is expensive and special developing which is also expensive. However, it does have the convenience of having the multiple sizes of film including panorama, which we sometimes use "on land." Overall, I would still recommend the disposables, since the cost of the underwater cam is pretty high.

We used to own an underwater camera. Have you tried boating stores? Think there is one online called Boat US.
