How many icons are there on your computer desktop?

I only have 8. I like to keep it cleaned up.

We went to a party at a friends house a couple weeks ago. He wanted to show me his new computer. When he moved the mouse and his screensaver switched off, I about had a heart attack! His whole desktop was completely covered in icons. So much that you couldn't even tell what his wallpaper background was. He has been saving everything to his desktop so he could find it easier. I was scared to even look at his taskbar. But, yep, it was clear across full with icons. He's fairly new to computers but pretty smart so he'll catch on sooner or later. I learned my lesson several times about newbies and computers so I didn't exactly offer to help him clean them all up...lol Some people like it that way though.

I have 13, but there's OODLES saved in the few folders I have. I save a lot of stuff straight to my desktop and then do a little cleaning now and then.

I have 26, and I just deleted three. I'm always afraid to delete something for fear I'll never find it again. Other than the recycle bin, where does it go when you delete something?

Cool

I have 17 but I keep my desktop "view as a web page" and put the desktop on the toolbar so I don't have to look at the ugly things. LOL

If you take a look at the 5th icon from the top of my screenshot, by far the most important one is MyIE2

Without tabbed browsing abilities I'd be dead.

Big grin Excuuuuse me.

I'm not that crazy for the StartMenu so I have alot of icons on my 18 inch screen.
64 total, in 5 columns of 14...14...14...14...8

On the QuickLaunch bar at the bottom of my screen, I have 21 mini-icons.

I never save to my desktop, rather I have a directory for "Saved Stuff" that has an icon pointing to it.

I have a lot of stuff on my system.
