I just found out some very sad news, my best friend, misty's father passed away last night at 1:39 a.m. He had colon cancer that spread to his liver and kidneys...He was only 56 years old...I have known him almost all my life and he was like my dad too....we used to joke around and call him Elvis because he had an Elvis hairdo lol and he called me chucklebutt cuz i was always laughing about something...he really helped take care of me after my parents got divorced and was just a really great father to misty and all of us neighborhood kids....this is heartbreaking to her and her mother and i, even though he had been terminal since august....

so please keep them in your thoughts and pray for strength, i just came from her house and they are not doing well, very very very sad day....

its very sad to see our loved ones pass.....but we have precious memories....we all know our time is coming.....some sooner, some later....its always hard. ive been through long drawn out illnesses with family and ive been through immediate losses....they are both hard.....just cherish the memories and you will keep their spirit alive.....
