I would love to say that I was going to lose weight , but I really think I will remain the same. We do tend to eat more during the holidays, but it isn't that much more. We'll also be busier running around thus burning extra calories!!

I could stand to lose a few pounds around the middle. Seems that's where all the food goes. The rest of me is slender. Guess I just love food too much!

I would love to say that I'll lose, but I know that's not realistic, so I put gain about 10 lbs. And that's not going to be good news for when I go to the doctor's on Dec. 23 for my 3 month checkup!! I can just hear him now???

Weight is not a subject to be discussed for the Holidays.
It is my time to eat pies, and cookies, and turkey, and mashed potatoes, and and and all the Christmas candy, then the New Years munchies. This is my favorite food time of year.
Yum Yum Yummmmmmy!!!!!!

I really, really am going to lose weight over the holidays. I've lost more than 15 pounds since mid-October and I'm not going to let the pumpkin pie or the box of chocolates stop me now!

Good on ya, Darria, that's an impressive loss. BTW, welcome to DODland.

PS - I hate you, the only thing I've been able to lose is my mind, LOL!

Naomi - You wish!

Ihvfaith - I'm right there with ya, girl!

If I don't make it, I won't eat it! In the past I baked dozens of cookies and made a lot of candy. Those days are over because no one is here to eat all of it. If I do make anything now I give it as a gift. I'll indulge a little, of course.

i refuse to put on another holiday outfit that either no longer fits or that looks horrible on me. I can do straight cabbage soup for a couple of weeks. I'm sure getting a workout at the garden center! loosing a few lbs for the holidays might just be the incentive I need to continue it 'til spring
Whatever makes ya'll feel good.....DO IT! and ENJOY the season

I would love to gain 10 lbs. I'm very thin and have always had a problem gaining weight. (high metabolism) The holidays are my chance to do it!

Have to say I'm going to lose. I've lost 16lbs since mid-September, so I'm not going to give up now!

Even after the mashed potatoes, cole slaw, etc, I still lost a pound last week.
