Rolling eyes What is the wackiest gift you have ever given or received for X'mas, birthdays etc.?

As a birthday gift for my BIL I once bought this rubber head of ex-President Nixon that fit over the shower head. His mouth was where the water came out. Wonder if he still has that??? Must be a collectible by now.

One year for Christmas.....

My mom bought me a warmy cotton nightshirt
that went to my knees, material was nice, but it
had this large poodle dog on the front .. wearing
a Scottish outfit , no less!! LOL
( a poodle in a scottish outfit.. I never understood! lol)

printed on it was the Plaid skirt, bag pipes, & a plaid
hat ( scottish style) . ATTACHED to that plain printed hat..
was a BIG,HUGE GREY BALL ( like the size of a baseball!!)
...needless to say.. I could never sleep on my stomach
while wearing that night shirt!!

( it's still a family funny.."The Poodle shirt" ) LOL

I don't remember how old I was when my mother gave me some money for me to buy Christmas gifts on my own. I'm sure it was under 10. I even wrapped them. Imagine the surprise on my aunt's face when she tore open the wrapping paper on a box of carpet tacks! It's the thought that counts, right?

Remember Zoobas? Those comfy sweatpant like pants in wild crazy designs? One year I acquired some samples from a sales rep and thought I would give them to my dad and bro as part of their xmas gift.(Was that bad?) Anyway, my brother liked his well enough, but my dad thought they were a joke. (Hmmm) His were tan with zebra like black stripes. I thought they were pretty tame LOL, but obviously he wasn't going to be caught dead in them. So, what do you do with a gift like that? You re-gift it BACK! Yeah, Dad gave it to my dh the following year for his birthday! Well, we had to be trickier so my dad wouldn't suspect he was getting them again so we put them in a mailing tube...and so on and so on...for several years until we kept forgetting to give them. Hey, I'm pretty sure we have them still. HMMM cross off another gift!
