 Just watched the Extended Version of the Fellowship of the Ring
TWO THUMBS - WAY UP!!! VERY VERY good movie, excellent additions to the original theatre version. The school put it on in the gym on the big projector screen and there were a TON of us students all sprawled out on couches, chairs, and pillows on the gym floor. WELL WORTH the 4 hours I was there watching it (except for a short 15 min intermission of course!) I would recommend seeing the extended version, even if you have seen the original already. Now a big group of us are planning on going to the opening night of the TWO TOWERS... its going to be a LORD OF THE RINGS CHRISTMAS!!! LOL

lol I want all 3 dvd versions. ONly have the regular one right now. Can't wait for The Two Towers. can't see it on opening day though :-( will wait for the day after. I have finals that Wednesday.

i tried to download it but i was advised my realplayer needed to be upgraded to get it so i did that....and when i tried to listen the next time, nothing happened.....i might try again later... |

Has anyone else seen The Two Towers yet? IMHO, it's just as good as the first. It does deviate from the book a bit more, if such things bother you. It ramps up the action quotient considerably, but if you're attentive, the character moments are still there to enjoy as well. You do get a "bigger picture" sense of what is at stake for the human race if the quest to destroy the Ring fails. |

 Can't wait!
My nephew bought the extended version and says that I can borrow it... I can't wait! BUT I have to wait till he watches it first...  I read on the box, at Wal-Mart, that there are 30 minutes of "extra" footage... | ARAGORN IS A HOTTIE!!!! I am sooooooo in love with him! This is so pathetic... sounds like a jr high crush But oh my gosh... everytime I saw him... especially in the TWO TOWERS which is GREAT... He was sooooo hot! There is one part in the TWO TOWERS where he comes walking into a kings courtyard, and he throws open the two huge doors... I agree. The extened version is wonderful! It is almost like watching a whole new movie. I can't wait to see The Two Towers (and get the extended version of it as well!). |
