Question Has anyone used Classic Closeouts.com to order anything and are they legit?

They just E-mailed me with the merchandise they carry. Just wondered if anyone out there has used them. Don't know if it's OK to give them my credit card number. It says on their web-site that they have just 38 employees. Their prices are so low. For example, I saw the following on their web-site, "French laundry" jean shorts for $7.49, Ralph Lauren pants for ladies, $17.00, even a Ralph Lauren sweater for men, $23.97. They even sell gifts for the home, kids toys, stereos etc. Some of the brands they carry: Voice, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, French Laundry, Disney etc. What do you think guys, should I take a chance on them? I mean, who doesn't love a great bargain right? So please tell me if you've ordered from them. I'd like to stretch my X'mas dollars.

I'd give it a shot on one item. See what happens. If you are concerned about your CC #, get a one time use number. That way, they can't come back and hit you again.

I did that once when I wanted to try a bookseller, ordered one book which didn't cost alot, just to see if I would actually receive it. Well, made a believer out of me, been ordering from that place ever since. In case you know someone who likes to read, who might like books for X'mas, try "Edward Hamilton" booksellers out of Falls Village, Connecticut. I believe they are online. They put out a newspaper format catalog with books on every subject and some great deals.

Thanks! I am an avid reader, so I will go check it out. My FIL is too, but since he has literally thousands of books, I am hesitant to buy any for him. I usually just GC him, so he can pick out his own...lol.

You're welcome cashhound. The books may not be recent, like published a few years back, but still all brand new and great reading. They carry everything from gardening, to art, to science fiction, biographies, home fix-it, you name it etc. etc. etc.

Re: Has anyone used Classic Closeouts.com to order anything and are they legit?

Hello Thread,

Yes I did bought some things from them last December '05, but I have to return some of the items because they are not the same when they arrive. Plus, I want you to be aware that once you returned the items, you won't hear from them again. I kept sending emails but no reply, and they did not refund my money since December, it happened to me twice, and it also happened to other people not just me. If you googed them, you will know. Try it and it will surely save you a lot of headache and aggravation. I don't want anybody to have a bad headache because of this transaction happened to anybody.
