Hee hee, a Trick or Treat Funny From the Mouse House

Ok...first for those of you who don't "follow" football, Steelers and the Browns are BIG time rivals. There are always little comments swapped in fun from a Browns fan to a Steeler fan and vice versa. Well, we had the two youngest (9 and 7) decked out as little football players...Steelers of course Any how all three would walk up to the doors and come back telling us how people kept saying "Ohhh a Steeler fan huh, well..they don't get much candy." It was all said in fun mind you. After awhile we gave the kids a little idea for the next fella that said that. Turned out to be perfect because he was the "perfect age". Well, all three truck it up to the door with bags in tow and bellow out a hardy "TRICK OR TREAT". The candy man had a couple of little smart butt comments about their Steeler attire, my 9 year old asks "Are you a Browns fan?" The candy man puffs out his chest, holds his head high and proudly replies "Yes I am." The 9 yro. being the speaker of the bunch looks to his left at his older bro, to the right at his younger bro and then back to the candy man who is now standing with hands on hips..puffs out his little chest (which is much larger than usual with the winter coat hidden beneath the black and gold jersey), holds his head high and proudly states "Ohhhh, I'm sorry..we don't accept candy from a Brown's fan." They all then turn on their heel and walked back to where we stood. Ohhhhhhh mercy folks...we laughed SOOOOOO hard. The candy man was STILL standing there with hands on hips, but his chest was no longer puffed out and his head hung a bit lower! He looked at us and just busted a gut. He said "Now THAT was goooooooood!"...the kids did accept candy from him only after we all stood in the driveway giggling. He knew exactly why the kids said what they did...I mean Steelers fans are very out numbered in our area. Across the street was a couple of men passing out candy while sitting in their lawn chairs and wearing Miami Dolphin attire, they saw and heard the whole thing and got just as good of a laugh as we did! LOL! The look of shock on the candy man's face while the kids walked away was just priceless!!!!

Mouse that was TOO funny. I work with an avid Browns fan. A couple of other people are Steelers fans. You should hear the bickering that goes on! My Lord, you'd think it was the civil war all over again!.....hehehe. I'll have to tell Mike(browns fan) about that! That was too cool! Thanks

Oh man...when football season starts I mentally go over all of my smart butt comments towards Brown fans before I leave the house..LOL! Yeah, it IS that bad. I think a lot of ppl. assume also when I am wearing the Black and Gold that I really don't know much about the team, like I just like the colors or something..LOL! Well, they quickly learn it's NOT the case. LOL! I have to admit to loving when that happens and Kenny is with me...OH BOY!
I think the kids really did get tired of hearing the comments because when we were taking the oldest son back to his Dad's (bio) a friend of his Dad asked the 9 yro "What kind of shirt is THAT?" Logan said "Hey, it's a shirt losers aren't allowed to wear." Again...I LMBO!!!
