 FUMING OVER EBAY SELLER!!!!
Hmmm.......that is putting it as nice as I can without getting in trouble for using profanity!! lol  Remember my story about the seller who says I didn't pay her and I sent payment but she wanted me to send more money, etc? Well, of course I had contacted ebay to let them know my side and also sent copies of all the emails that were sent so they would have that information. Still haven't heard back from them either.  Tonight I went on and left negative feedback since hubby said that is what I should do regardless of what she does. Anyway.....shortly after leaving it I see she left me feedback. Negative of course......so I did the follow-up comment and responded that I sent payment, etc and that seller was rude......not in those exact words since they only allow you 80 characters but you get the idea. But they way I worded it was nice but firm as hubby put it. Anyway........not even 10 minutes later I get an email from her!  She is ranting about how much of a witch I am.......again trying to be nice in relaying this.........and how I left unfounded negative feedback for her?! And how she was going to report it to ebay, etc etc. Boy.....this woman is a nut case!!  So I just 'ignore' it. Few minutes later.....ANOTHER email.......this time she is telling me how it is so wonderful to be able to leave follow-ups and how she will make sure everyone knows what kind of person I am?!  And how life is wonderful when it comes to payback!? At this point I am thinking.......whacko for real. I just want her to leave me alone! So I let hubby read it. He was fuming from the start. He immediatley decided to report her to ebay (which he did......again and sent these emails as well) AND went one step further to report her to her ISP for sending unwanted harassing emails! After he did that he told me to send her an email stating that this was to inform her she was to no longer contact me and her ISP has been informed. So I did. Not 5 minutes after that......3 more emails!!! Now is it just me or is this person completely off her rocker? Hubby said if ebay doesn't do something about her then her ISP better because he isn't playing these games.Anyone else out there had something to this extreme happen to them?! I am just shocked. All I did was refuse to send more money and this is what happens. Thank God I saved each and every received and sent email. That way I can prove my case if I need to. So sorry to hear it. I used to sell on ebay and it was more hastle than it was worth. I've heard too many bad ebay experiences. just take a deep breath. It will not destroy they rest of your good rep that much. When I see a recent neg. feedback I look and try to read each posters to see if I can figure it out. She was nasty on what you left her. Don't worry so much she is a odd character to get nutty over $4.00. Just $4.00. So what. She didn't receive payment big deal. she still has the item she can relist it and move on. You are out $4.00 only. Don't make yourself ill over this. |

Glad to hear I am not the only one that has had an experience with a nut off ebay. Get this......I checked my email a few minutes ago and there was yet ANOTHER email from her!! She just doesn't give up!! AND in this email she tells me she is a PROFESSIONAL actress and doesn't take kindly to people reporting false accusations and how her ISP will not believe me and how ebay will let her get away with whatever she wants! Is she a certified nut or what?! I have to say I am ticked BUT I am not worried about that one negative. I left my follow-up and ebay was notified of her INSANE emails and sent copies. I also believe that over $4.00 she is REALLY crazy. Big deal......get over it. Not like it was $400 or anything! lol Besides, I still believe that she did receive payment but thought she could manipulate me to get more money. It just didn't work. I would rather take this loss rather than fight her. If she can live with herself then so be it. This is the 2nd BAD experience I have had on ebay. I am SO tempted to say forget it and NEVER buy/sell on there again. However, as hubby put it there are good/bad everywhere. Just have to be extra careful when dealing with people like this and read over EVERY comment.......even if you don't feel like it. Unfortunately - as I posted in a news article a while ago - ebay doesn't do much about this stuff, so I wouldn't expect too much from them, if anything. I didn't notice if you said, if you have proof that you sent the money? Like a money order stub or did you write a check? Not sure why people go so nuts, especially over something so small. I've never had a big problem with ebay though in over 300 transactions. yep......money order. Checked to see about getting a tracer put on it but it was going to cost almost as much as the money order was originally so hubby and I decided to just eat this loss. After all it was only $4. sad thing was I even offered to pay her again if she would send the original money order back should she have 'found it' or whatever and she REFUSED! Well, there was no way I was going to send more money......that cheap little item would have costed me double and it just wasn't worth it. Paypal is the best way to pay for items. I normally don't bid on items that don't accept paypal. Reason being.......you never know when they get the payment and like in this case......are they being honest or not about it?

That woman is a nut and a half! I only had one transaction (bought a comic book) on e-bay and the lady was nice.....I do worry about the personal info, etc., eps. when nut cases like that are around. I hope they punish that woman big time, as well as the loon SkyeJaz is dealing with, that is just a really scarey thing dealing with someone who has your personal info and is not mentally together. best of luck in dealing with this. At least you both have documentation, so that should be a big help. I've only had one bad experience with Ebay. I bought a pair of snow bibs, and they arrived with a broken zipper. When I left negative feedback, she turned around and left me retalitory negative feedback, saying I had lied about the condition of the item.....and even had the nerve to email me and tell me that "I probably broke the zipper when I tried it on."  My two cents!
I guess I am just unlucky because I have not had just one of these wackos to deal with but three! I have been selling on eBay for four years and I have had two buyers who have been crazy and one seller. The last one happened about a year ago and it was actually someone my Mom was dealing with who was a seller and was threatning her over her delayed payment (arrived and was cashed ONE day after his ten day time limit). anyway this person basicly said in a negative feedback that my entire family was scum and that we were dishonest and whatever else he could fit into the feedback and comment areas. He even went so far as to threaten us with harm! This was the second person who has done this to us via email over the tiniest of things and do you know what eBay did? No big surprise they did NOTHING! At one point with my first incident the person really caused me to fear for my safety as they indicated that they would seek "revenge" upon us and even after letting eBay know this and sending copies of the offensive emails they STILL did NOTHING! So anyway, as I believe someone else has stated, I would not hold my breath on eBay doing anything to help you. I would take the advice of others and just put this out of your mind. These wackos are not the norm and you just have to delete those emails without reading them until they go away, once they see you don't care anymore like any bully they will decide to go on to something else. Yep.......sad but true. Ebay won't do anything to them. And you know what......this nut even sent me a email stating that!! All that aside.....I have done all I can. The rest is up to Ebay and her ISP. What they do with her is up to them.Hubby was so mad over this and some of the emails she sent that he told me it was too bad that there wasn't some way we could go to the press about how ebay lets people abuse other people......and even make threats but because of the almighty dollar being so important to them. He said the other option was if enough people would start hitting all the ISP's with complaints when someone from ebay harrasses them by 'spamming' them with unwanted threatening emails, etc that maybe then they would get kicked off the net and not be able to do that to anyone else.
