Please remember my hubby in your prayers...
I havent been on much in the last few days. On top of everything else, Tom has to have quadruple bypass surgery.The doctor found the blockages yesterday quite by accident...Its very weird how God works. tom had an earache and went to the doctor. this doctor is very thorough and noticed toms tremor in his right hand. hes had it for 3-4 years and its gotten progressively worse. has been to a few doctors trying to found out what it is and what to do about it with no luck. anyway. this doctor started asking questions and ended up ordering a stress test and nitro glycerine tablets. the stress test showed a restriction so they did the heart catherization/dye test. thank goodness his heart is in good shape, but the 3 major arteries are from 75-95 percent blocked and one small one is 95 percent blocked. there is no question but it has to be done but we have been in shock for 2 days now. surgery will be as soon as it can be arranged. it might be a few days before i get back on here. ill let y'all know how it goes as soon as i can. thanks for all your well wishes and comadery!!

My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your hubby. Praying that the surgery can be soon, that it goes well, and that he is home before you know it!!!

Tom and you are both in my prayers. I know this is tough on ya'll, but remember that this is not like it was ten or even five years ago. By-pass surgery is very major, but the survival rate is tremendously high. It is a miracle Tom hasn't suffered from a heart attack with that kind of blockage. I know you are stressed (can't help but be!) Hang in there and feel the prayers of all of us.

May God bless you and protect you through this ordeal. May His hands work through the hands of the surgeons, giving them extraordinary skill and precision. May He give ya'll peace beyond understanding.

You are both in my thoughts. I'm very confident Tom's surgery will go very well. His heart must be really strong to keep him going through that much blockage.

Tasker...take care of yourself, too. It's too easy to let the stress get to you. Make yourself eat regularly and get rest. Is chellem coming in for the surgery? Tell her to take care of herself too
