Question

With Mr. Rogers upcoming retirement (http://www.cnn.com/2000/SHOWBIZ/TV/11/11/mr.rogers.ap/index.html), I became curious to know who among us are Mr. Rogers' kids and who are Sesame Street kids...

SESAME STREET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Ok, I have to be honest, I still watch it! Sometimes if I'm cooking, or doing bills, or something that doesn't require much concentration I turn the TV on and there will be nothing on (we don't have cable) but Sesame street so I'll watch it. I actually still kind of enjoy it, brings back memories)

Neither. I loved Captain Kangaroo -- watched him every morning along with Mr. Greenjeans, Grandfather Clock, Mr. Bainter, Bunny Rabbit, Mr. Moose... etc, etc.

I heard a long time ago that both Mr. Rogers and Captain Kangaroo were snipers in Vietnam with over 50 confirmed kills each... Anybody got details?

Cool

I used to love Captain Kangaroo and Sesame Street. Shoot, I watched them all. I remember a show with Bill Cosby... He had a magic marker that made funny noises when he drew things and I had an activity book to follow along. Anyone else remember what that was?

And... I must admit that I tape the Bozo Super Sunday Show on WGN every Sunday morning, and I'm 25!

Sesame Street!! I love Cookie Monster and Elmo. I used to love watching The Muppet Show also, used to love the chef who sang when he cooked. Never really cared for Mr. Rogers....thought it was kinda weird. And I always wondered how Mr. McFEELEY got HIS name!!! (Hmmmm...scary thought) lol

Big grin

I know that I loved Captain Kangaroo(no matter how many time those ping-pong balls fell on his head, I laughed like I had never seen it before) and coming from the Pittsburgh area, it HAD to be Mr. Rogers!
