| Every year I get a Christmas angel (a needy child) from the church and buy Christmas presents for them, as I have no children yet I wish I could see the joy that I bring these kids on Christmas morning! And yet I always wonder when I look at all the gifts that people bring for these "angels" to the church, if the real angels aren't the ones who bring the joy to these kids? This year, I have an angel who has helped me more than he knows! Mayor is my angel this year and will surely be blessed by God for what he has done! Thank you with all my heart Joel! And may your family's holidays be joyous! (((hugs)))

| hey hardlife! our church gets the names of kids every year from Social Services. We have the kids in Sunday School make little paper angels and we right the name and age and what the child needs on the back of the angels and hang them on the tree in the church foyer for every family to take one. And actually in recent years we've been running out of angels so we've also been putting people from the nursing home on the tree too. Just about any social services office will help a church or organization do this, so if you belong to one and want to do this sort of thing contact them! it's the best feeling! |

| I know this may sound awful, but with 5 kids to buy for (and none quite qualify for the angel award) I never seem to have enough left over for any other children(well other than 12 nieces and nephewsand 3 great nieces and nephews)so this year i have gotten some games for the local preschool, I know not quit as good as giving to a needy child. I figure next year with doing free ride and milesource i may have more than enough for all family gifts and a cpl of children with the deals i get from here! But i think that it's great for all the ppl who can help that they do so so willingly!! |
