 Wow today makes 3 weeks ago that I had back surgery ! I actually woke up today feelin pretty good! Over ten years ago I had a water-sking accident. The water was too choppy that day for one thing and I look back now and think ,,, geeze why did i even go out on the water I knew better. I remember "flying" across the wake..it was awsome! Then all of the sudden BOOM! I fell hard, I sorta did the splits. The next thing i remembered was being taken to Houston. I had 3 buldging discs other related problems, started physical therapy etc,, Over the past two years I have taken 15 sets of injections in my back, Epidural Steroid Injections. A month ago I had another MRI w/sedation that show'ed L5-S1 ruptured, so it was time to have surgery done. I had been terrified of having back surgery but I had exhausted all other avenues of treatments. I am VERY greatful to say that I have had an 80% improvement since surgery! Miracles never cease !!! *thanks hrdlife1 ya got me hooked! DOD Rules! ------------------  |

Oh, MrsDEG: back surgery is no small matter. I went through this with my mother, but it really does make things better. I even know about the back epidurals, the hubby had a few of those cause of back problems. You certainly have been through ****, hang in there, soon, you will be moving around wondering why you hadn't done it earlier.
