Sandwich Maker Recipe Ideas

I purchased an electric sandwhich maker and I am trying to think of new things I can make with it... here are the things I thought of already

Mini Pizzas
Hot ham & cheese
Grilled cheese
Smore treats
Cherry pies (or any other pie with pie filling)

Any other ideas out there? This is one of my major cooking appliances besides the hot pot in my dorm.

Can you do sausage and eggs in it? Like an Egg McMuffin type of thing? Do you have a small fridg for the eggs?

How about pastrami with melted cheese?

yes I do have a small fridge, but how would I make it? just crack an egg on the bread, put the other piece on top and then turn it on?

I did a search on Sandwich Maker Recipes at about.com and here are just a few recipes of the recipes that came up:

Pigs in a Blanket
Ingredients:
pancake batter

heat and serve link sausages, heated

syrup

powdered sugar (optional)

margarine

Place a small amount of margarine in each of the sandwich maker wells. Preheat about 5 minutes. Fill the wells halfway with pancake batter, then place a sausage link on top of batter. Put a little more batter on top. Serve hot with powdered sugar and syrup.

-------------------------

Ham and Cheese Omelet
Ingredients:
3 eggs, beaten

salt and pepper to taste

ham, chopped (about 3 tablespoons)

shredded cheddar cheese, about 1/4 cup

margarine

Place a small amount of margarine in each of the sandwich maker wells. Preheat about 5 minutes. Pour half of the eggs evenly into the hot, buttered wells of the machine, top with the ham and cheese, pour remaining eggs on top. Close machine, cook for about 2 minutes or until done. Top with more cheese if desired.

---------

Crispy Burritos
Ingredients:
2 6-inch corn or flour tortillas

shredded, cooked beef or pork, (optional)

heated refried beans

salsa

shredded cheese

sour cream, (optional)

Spray machine with cooking spray. Preheat about 5 minutes. Place one tortilla in the sandwich maker, top with about 1 tablespoon each of meat, beans, salsa, cheese, and sour cream. Top with remaining tortilla. Cover and cook for about 3 minutes.

The egg problem, how to do it, I hadn't thought of that. Hmmmm.
Guess you're just going to have to go with the flat round type sausage without the egg.
