I bought some of the glass plus wipes today at the supermarket and i like them for the kids to use to wipe the windows, and for quick clean ups of glass, but i dont like the price. sooo, i was wondering could i use paper towels in a large bowl with a hole cut in the top and just saturate with glass plus or even windshield washer fluid?? any one know?? thanks, karen

i did a search last night and found this site [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or

I think when my glass cleaner container is empty i will put the paper towels in there and use that container, i cant pull them out the right way anyways so i will be used to opening the top to get the next sheet. karen

I haven't bought glass cleaner since I started to clean windows and mirrors with vinegar and newspapers. Just keep a spray bottle filled. Every day I have leftover newspaper, too. It seems to work better for me. Other cleaners left a film which I couldn't see until the first time I used the vinegar. I guess this doesn't make it more convenient, but it is cheaper!![]() |

cofee filters are great to do windows with too =) they are cheap and you can buy them in bulk.... .. hey come to think of it the filters kinda remind me of the texture of the windex glass cleaner wipes Quote:
