Reuse for an old comforter

If your comforter has lost some of it's batting, or the batting has fused together from the dryer it is not a lost cause, just cut the bad part off. Now you might have 1/2 of your comforter left. Sew the end either on your sewing machine or by hand. This can be used at the foot of your bed in the cooler months to keep your feet warm, it can also be used to throw around your shoulders in cooler weather while watching TV. Also, if you have any little girls in your house, you can cut the comforter and make smaller comforters for their doll's beds.
