Exclamation Need fabric softner recipe & auto dish soap

I realize most softners include perfume...that's one of the big reasons I use them!

Anyone got a recipe for fab softner??? and what type of perfume do ya use in that??

Also........would love to hear an automatic dishwasher soap recipe...although we have very cheap products here.....I'd like to see if I could beat them on price.

Thanks!

Fabric Softener Recipe

Pennies a Load...works great, too!

2 Cups White Vinegar
2 Cups Baking Soda
4 Cups Water

Combine slowly and carefully over sink. The baking soda and vinegar will fizz. You can add a few drops of your favorite fragrance too if you like.

Pour into plastic bottle, cover, and shake.
*Hint - Reuse your "Downy" bottle.

Use 1/4 cup in the final rinse or in a "Downy Ball".

Nope, no vinegar smell.

Just using plain white vinegar works great, too. In fact, there is NO fragrance at all, so if you want a scent, try adding your own fragrance or something like the above poster said. I've heard of people using just a few drops of their favorite purchased fabric softener just for the scent. Means you have to buy a bottle but I would think that bottle would last just about forever!
