Cool The Real Freebie LifeStyle

I thought that was just good money management . Swipin' the toilet paper off the roll at public rest rooms .

Going in the fast food place and ordering your food to go. So you can top your bag off with Napkins and codiments . With out bugging them at the drive thru .
When I go thru I am not Shy . I will say I want at least 40 ketchups. When I go to Taco bell I'll get a 100 or more taco sauces . I keep our bottles Full around here from place like that . You never what the Napkin is gonna say in this House ~ lol.

Toilet paper although swiped/borrowed . Is reserved for guest even with a 200 plus roll stock pile and growing. Cause the Napkins are so in abundence around here.

The neighbor came over and asked for jelly or jam awhile back. I pulled open a kitchen drawer and told him to help himself every brand that comes in a packet or little tub was in there .

I have built custom dividers in several drawers in our kitchen . Jars for the equal , nutrasweet , & sugar packets. So the kids don't have to open the little packets everytime they wanna make a pitcher of Kool-aid.
I stay in motels a lot painting things on the road . That 's atleast 2 rolls a toilet paper a day and as many shampoos and soaps , mouth washes and stuff
I can get my hands on...

Needless to say on a year long project I might haul home as much a pick up load of the above mentioned Items.

A warning to them don't dare have the those little boxes of ceral in the morning. They better buy a hopper for the ceral . Otherwise I'll go up and get 5 or 6 of them daily too.

The creamers those are called baby milks by my boys and will drink 10 or 12 of the flavored ones had from gas station as a treat. When they return home from School and day care .

recap of things we don't buy in this house .

butter,sugar,condiments,soap,deodorant,mouth wash, shampoo,napkins,toilet paper,salt ,pepper, and that not the complete list but covers most of the stuff.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anyone else care to add there Tips ?
This IS a joke right????
I mean, imagine opening all those little packets of taco sauce in order to fill a jar. Or how many little packets of sugar would it take to fill a jar or make Kool-aid?
Hi Sam & Hello Lightning ~
Nice to meet you No this isn't a joke I have a 7 going on 8 year old boy Tristan and a just turned 3 year old Cameron .
They love to snip the packets with sizzors and put the stuff in Jars and bottles . It 's like doing crafts them and cool for me
So maybe we are strange and we don't this cause we're broke .
But it is soemthing we do and then the money saved the kids spend on Video and Games and etc.
So there is a purpose behind it for them
I have to agree with RedRover, STEALING toilet paper from public restrooms is going too far.
But, hey, if you have the time and patience to empty all those little packets of sauce and sweetener....more power to you!
Yes, that's what I meant. Taking toliet paper from public places is stealing. Stores have to raise their prices to make up for theft, so in the long run everyone suffers.
However, if Taco Bell feels like giving away 100 packets of taco sauce, and if you are nuts enough to open each one and pour them in a jar, then fine with me. Just sounds weird.
Wow, I hope this is a joke, most of what was mentioned is actually stealing. Who in the world would steal toilet paper... and 100 packets of taco sauce..this is the reason fast food is so expensive, people steal from them like that and the prices go up!
That's a great example you're setting for your children....how to steal! That's not being frugal....that's being a thief! Being frugal is using coupons, checking all the sale papers and going from store to store to get the best prices. If I were you I wouldn't be bragging about how I steal especially the TP!
I agree. Taking 100 packets of sauce is stealing. I can't believe they give it to you upon request. And it's not even frugal! 100 packets fills what, one, maybe 2 jars? And you've probably spent $5 on a combo which could have bought you 2 jars, a couple frozen burritos, and a 2-liter of soda...and then some.
Now, I'm not saying that I've never taken leftover packets of ketchup from lunch and added them (2 or 3) to my squeeze bottle in the fridge. But I've never requested extra for that purpose. I just don't like to waste by throwing them away.
What you're doing (if this isn't a joke, which I sure hope it is) is certainly theft and the reason the rest of us can't afford fast food or hotel stays.
