Look what I found in the Dessert section ([Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now])..now how appropriate!! LOL! I just wish it was a baked item..darn it!

CHOCOLATE MICE

4 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate
1/3 cup sour cream
1 cup chocolate wafers, finely crushed
1/3 cup chocolate wafers, finely crumbled (for dark mice)
1/3 cup confectioners' sugar (for white mice)
24 silver dragees (small silver, edible balls for eyes)
24 sliced almonds (for ears)
12 licorice strings (for tails)

1 Melt the chocolate, and combine with sour cream. Stir in 1 cup of the chocolate wafer crumbs. Mix well. Cover and refigerate until firm.

2 Roll by level tablespoonfuls into balls. Mold to a slight point at one end (the nose).

3 Roll dough in confectioners sugar (for white mice), or in chocolate wafer crumbs (for dark mice). On each mouse, place dragees in appropriate spot for eyes, almond slices for ears, and a licorice string for the tail.

4 Refrigerate for at least two hours until firm.

Makes 1 dozen

tkkmasky..oh boy you are so right..one year I made all the dough in the bread maker, but baked the loaves in the oven. I timed it just right to have about 4 loaves coming out when I was putting 4 more in...BOY OH BOY were there some mad men in this house when I kept telling them to keep their hands off! LOL! Mercy it smelled soooooo good! It's one of my most favorite smells in the whole wide world.

CINNABON CINNAMON ROLLS (BREAD MACHINE)

1/4 c. butter, melted
1/4 c. water
1/2 pkg. instant vanilla pudding (1/2 of a 3.4 oz. box)
1 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. bread flour
2 1/2 tsp. yeast

FILLING

1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

FROSTING

4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. milk

Rolls: Place ingredients in machine following the specifications of that particular machine. Set for dough cycle. After complete on dough cycle, remove from machine and roll out to 17x10" (approx.) rectangle.

Filling: Mix together brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread softened butter over dough. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon mixture over top. Roll tightly from long end, pinching edges closed when completely rolled. Slice rolled dough into 1/2" slices (or larger if a larger bun is preferred). Place into greased cake pans or a cookie sheet. If using cake pans, use 3 9" pans. Let rise until doubled. Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes, until golden. Do not overbake.

Frosting: Spread on very warm rolls. They are best when eaten fresh, but we have found that 10-15 seconds in the microwave rejuvenates them. Note: You may add chopped nuts with the filling, and use twice the amount of cinnamon.

Wink thanks - i think:)

I was just checking out the different forums and happened upon this crockpot one, so i checked it out and of course i quickly found the crockpot chocolate surprise and realized i had all the ingredients to make this one will let you know if it is any good

i like using my crockpot but dont use it that often. my big one did break though and i would like to get another one that isnt too expensive. i like the idea of one that you can do some programming on or at least one that has a holding/warming option.

thanks again for the site, i think

karen
