I am so tired of cooking the same old stuff!! Do any of you have a good chicken recipe? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Just to help out, we don't eat olives. ( I have seen several recipes that call for olives). Also, I have gone to many of the recipe sites and none of the recipes that they have look very good, of they seem to be too "foo-foo". If you want you can just e-mail me at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]. Thanks!!!!!!! |

I saw this one on the dollar stretcher site. It seemed so easy, but I haven't tried it yet. Orange Glazed Chicken Breasts 1 (6-oz) frozen orange juice concentrate 1/2 tsp dried marjoram leaves 2 tbs cornstarch 6 (6-oz) chicken breast halves 1/4 cup water Combine thawed orange juice and marjoram in shallow dish. Dip each breast in orange juice mixture, put in the crock pot, pour remaining sauce over breasts. Cover and cook on low 7-9 hours or on high for 4-5 hours. Before serving, remove chicken breasts from crock pot. Mix water and cornstarch in the sauce mixture; cook covered on high for about 15-30 minutes. Serve over chicken. Serves 6. |

Also, my kids like the chicken/stove top stuffing recipe from the Stove Top box. I have a chicken enchilada recipe if you're interested. Don't have time to type it out right now. I think someone posted this on here a long time ago - it sounds kind of funny, but turns out really, really good! In a crockpot, toss in: 1 package chicken parts (or cut up one whole chicken) Top with: 1 can Manwich 1 can vacuum packed corn Do not mix the ingredients - the corn is best steamed on the top (or else it will be a gooey mess on the bottom) & the Manwich will turn into a yummy sauce. Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or high heat for 3-4 hours. I serve this with white steamed rice. I also make sure to skin the chicken first - takes away most of the fat - but my sister made it with all chicken legs & said it was still good. You can use frozen corn (about a half a package) & if you cook it on low, the chicken doesn't have to be completely thawed before putting in the cooker. |

Here's a few ideas... I buy creamy sauces (like Ragu Cheese Creations, they're always on sale), then pour over strips of boneless chicken, top with some shredded cheese (mozzerella, cheddar or blends of both), bake at 350 for about an hour (covered for about 40 minutes, uncovered for the last 20). You can serve it over pasta, veggies (we like steamed broccoli) or both... You can also make that in a crockpot as well. Or try chicken "scampi"...In a small saucepan, melt a few sticks of margarine or butter (I always use I can't believe it's not butter, light), add in a package of pesto sauce or pesto mix (like Knorr's) OR use some garlic, Polaner basil (the stuff in the jar) or fresh basil, a few teaspoons of Italian seasoning and a few dashes of pepper...pour over some strips of boneless chicken, bake at 425 for an hour (covered for 40 minutes, uncovered for 20)...serve over pasta or veggies (again we like steamed broccoli!)... you can add in more of your favorite seasonings as you like! Kath(one of our local stores marks down their pesto sauce near the sell by date...usually I can get a decent sized container (5 servings size) for $1.50...generally I buy all they have at that price & freeze it, use it for scampi, garlic breads, etc...) |

This is so easy. Marinate boneless chicken breasts overnight in Wishbone Italian dressing. Then fry in a pan. They brown so nicely and are so tender. My family loves them.

Need cooked chicken cut up (pre-cooked) 2 packages of cresent rolls cheese salsa sour cream if you like it lay one roll of cresent rolls flat in baking pan then top with chicken, cheese, salsa then put the other layer of cresent rolls on top and bake till done. We like cajan seasonings so I put some of it on the chicken and sometimes leave off the salsa and add onions(sweet) red peppers and green peppers. This dish is yummy even my kids love it! |

Soy Chicken 1 chicken cut up 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup butter or margarine Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, and margarine in small saucepan. Heat on low until margarine is melted, stirring to mix well. Place chicken in baking dish, pour sauce over. Bake @350 for 30 minutes. Turn and bake 20-30 more minutes or until done, basting occasionally. We like to have this with rice. The sauce is pretty mild but tasty. |
