What to do with 3 loaves of white bread?

I was at the local Wonderbread outlet on Saturaday and they had 3 loaves of the Giant white bread for $1. Well...I couldn't pass that up..but now what do I do with it all? I could freeze it but I was thinking there must be some kind of recipes out there besides French Toast! Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks, Joy

Well.......

*You could make flavored crutons. They keep for a bit and are nice to add some zing to the dinner salad.

*Isnt there a *white bread* paste or craft thing for kids?
Sounds gross to me.

I would make crutons.

I always make a strata when I have extra bread. It's a really good breakfast casserole. You can put anything in it you like-ham, bacon, sausage, veggies....

You could make a couple, separate them into servings and freeze..they warm up really nice in the microwave...yummy breakfast!

9 slices bread, torn into bite size pieces
1/2 cup diced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
16 ounces Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 cups cubed cooked ham
8 eggs
2 cups milk

Directions
1 Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer half of the torn bread into the bottom of the prepared pan. Sprinkle the mushrooms and pepper evenly over the bread layer. Sprinkle with half of the cheese. Top with remaining bread pieces, then a layer of the onion and ham. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Whisk together eggs and milk; pour over the entire pan. Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate for 12 to 24 hours.
2 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
3 Bake covered, for 35 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until top is evenly browned.

Italianlady is an unknown quantity
What I've done with lots of extra bread like that is make grilled cheese sandwiches and kinda mush them a little flat, freeze, and then when you make hot dogs you can thaw them out, heat, and roll them around the weiner for a no-drip cheese dog

cata5 is welcome here
I throw some in the food processor to make crumbs, bag it, freeze it...Always have some available for recipes.

Bread pudding?

Those stratas are great! Very easy, too.

How about those sandwiches that are like french toast, but have ham and cheese inside and powdered sugar and jelly on the bread(french toast) part. Used to get those at a restaurant...
