I have a huge aluminum canning pot which seems to have some whitish spots in it...I think it oxidized?? Scrubbed it a bit and it seemed to come off, but it still looks wrong, has some darkishness to it and spots where I scrubbed at it...
...I'm making a 5 gallon pot of chili (yes, with that cheap ground beef in my freezer, which I mentioned in another post!!) for a huge bonfire party this weekend...Is the pot okay to use as is (nothing else is coming off of it) or is there some home remedy I should be using to clean it? For some reason I'm thinking baking soda and vinegar, or cream of tartar...
Any input will be greatly appreciated!
