Unhappy I burned my jelly kettle, HELP

Had a accident, I burned my jelly kettle, what is the best way to clean it so it doesn't stick again.

Turned my back only for a second but it was was enough for the peach's to stick. (Peach Jam) I know if I don't get it done right it will stick there again.

What is your advice

I have used comet cleanser or it's equivelant with good results. Best thing is to let it set with water and cleanser...then clean it. You might have to use elbow grease though.

If letting a cleanser & water paste doesn't work, try using some OxyClean.

I did the same thing with a plum/strawberry mix earlier and the cleanser just didn't cut through it. I just made sure the bottom was wet (I filled it with water & then poured out almost all of the water so that it was very damp) and then sprinkled on a scoop of the OxyClean. It bubbled up & after about 20 minutes, I was able to wipe it out with a paper towel.
