Went to K-Mart this weekend. They had a ton of baby clothes on clearance which was great for me since two people I know are expecting in November and December. Found a cute litte white outfit. It was a one-piece, footed with white characters embroidered on the front. It came with a jacket and hat. It was marked down to $9 plus an extra 40% off. Well, the bummer was the right foot was dirty. Looked like a major water stain. So, I took the outfit up to CS to see if they could give me any additional discount. They agrees to take an extra 15% off. Well, what the heck, I thought, hoping to get the stain out with some Shout. WELL! The cashier rang up the thing and after all my discounts the outfit came to $1.22! Ans the good news is I took it home and washed it three times and ta-da! No more stain.Anyway, just had to share. Happy deal hunting everyone!

K-Mart is good about marking things down if you find a problem. I got a real nice lamp with a horse on it. The horse was missing its bit. No big deal but they marked it down 10% and it was on sale too made me happy. It pays to look for the problems and ask you never know what kind of deal you might get. |
