monapoe is welcome here
Thumbs up another one.....

Mmmm... banana ice cream- sounds yummy! Thanks for the recipe!

Here's a REALLY easy recipe for ice cream in about 10 minutes. This is a great one to make with kids!:

2 tbsp sugar
1 cup half and half
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup salt (kosher or rock is best)
ice cubes (enough to fill gallon size bag half full)
1 pint size ziploc bag (or quart, if you wish)
1 gallon size ziploc bag

Combine sugar, half and half, and vanilla extract in pint size bag and seal. Place salt and ice in gallon size ziploc bag. Place pint size ziploc bag, with mixture, inside of gallon size bag. Seal gallon size bag and shake until mixture hardens (5-10 minutes). Remove pint size bag and enjoy the ice cream right out of the bag (with a spoon, of course)!

My children range in age from 1 to 13 and they all make their own because it's so easy! When I'm craving some homemade ice cream, I make it for myself, too!
