I just wanted to let everyone know about paint deals. Most stores that sell mixed paint usually has a "clearance" section with mistinted paint. For whatever reason if the person did not like the color, or just decided to return it you can get a good deal on this. I purchased A quart of Martha Stewart (forrest green) paint from Kmart for 50 cents! And a gallon of black latex paint for $1.00! I painted my bathroom for 50 Cents!!

As for the black paint, I will be painting my old linolium kitchen floor with that, put about 4-5 coats of polyurethane, and have a new floor for under $10.00!! (the polyurethane was $8.00)

Just thought I would pass this along!!

I painted my whole house cheap!

We painted every room a different color and I used "oops" paint from Home Depot. I painted every room but one using Ralph Lauren paint that I got for $1-2 a gallon.

I painted one room with Behr paint and I did notice that the Ralph Lauren paint goes a long way. I had 2 rooms identical in size and I painted one with 1 gallon of Ralph Lauren and it took 1 1/2 with Behr.

Great tip! Ralph Lauren paint is normally $30+ a gallon!

I LOVE miss matched paint!

Though it is not as cheap out here in Booneyville.
Usually runs $5 but, I did my kitchen a bichen forest type green for $2. Back home I could get it free.

Please let me know how the floor turns out.
The kitchen floor here needs HELP.
(cheap help that is)

This is sooooo interesting. We are remodeling our kitchen right now and cannot afford to replace the floor yet. Please let me know if you have every done this before and how it turns out. I would love to do this to my old yucky linoleum floor. So you just paint it and then put on 4-5 coats of ployurethane?....that is great!!! I am going to mention this to my husband when he gets home. He just might go for this one!

Thanks!!!
