I have been collecting recipes for the last 10 years or so and you can very well imagine how big and fat my recipe book must have become. But I would not be able to post all of them since they are mostly Indian foods and pretty spicy......I am sure that most of you don't eat too spicy! ![]() This is a very simple recipe which I prepared yesterday and came out great! 3 zucchini 2 tablespoon olive oil 2 tablespoon lime juice 2 cloves of garlic minced very finely 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/4 teaspoon salt non fat cooking oil Peel the zucchini and cut them legthwise like long matchstick pieces. Combine all the ingrdients and store them for about 15 mins. Pre heat the grill and grill the zucchini horizontal for 4-5 mins and voila! Its done! It was very tasty!! I recently bought the grill and are stil experimenting with new dishes and I love it. I feel that it is the best thing in my kitchen!!!! ![]()

I know what you mean bassmount! I have been making my pumpkin roll for over 20 years, no one I knew had the recipe, and it was kind of my special thing. People would ask me to make it for them even! Now it is everywhere, or so it seems. Here's a good one for hot fudge cake: 1 cup all-purpose flour 3/4 cup sugar 6 tablespoons cocoa, divided into 2 groups 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup milk 2 tablespoons veg. oil 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup packed brown sugar 1 3/4 cups hot water Optional whipped cream or ice cream In a medium boxl, combine flour, sugar, 2 of the tablespoons of cocoa, b. powder and salt. Stir in the milk, oil and vanilla until smooth. Spread in an ungreased 9-inch square baking pan. Combine brown sugar and remaining cocoa; sprinkle over batter. Pour hot water over all; do NOT stir. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Serve warm and top with whipped cream or ice cream if desired. And, man, is this rich! My family loves this hot out of the oven!

Kirsten, that sounds absolutly sinful! Must try it out this weekend!![]() And......... Dev, post away. My husband loves Indian food, the spicier the better! I think his stomach is made of cast iron! This is something I don't get though. He can eat things like Thia or Habeniro peppers straight and things even hotter than that if you can imagine, but says that meat is upsetting his stomach, so he is not going to eat it anymore. Hum, go figure.

This is a very tasty Indian dish which could be made in the tandoor (oven) or grill....tastes great both ways! I usually make it in the oven but recently I made it in the grill and it tasted great!!! It is called Tandoori chicken 1 small whole chicken Lemon juice 3 tsp. Red chili powder 2 tsp. Curd (Yogurt) As per taste Garlic paste 1 tsp. Ginger paste 1 tsp. Garam Masala powder 1/2 tsp. (see how to make this spicy Indian curry powder at home at the end of the recipe) Mustard oil 1 tsp. Oil For basting Salt As per taste Skin the chicken and make diagonal incisions all over. Mix 1 tablespoon red chili powder, salt and 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Apply this to the chicken and leave it for half an hour. Hang Curd/Yogurt in the muslin cloth for some time. Take Yogurt in a bowl, add red chili powder, salt, lemon juice, Ginger Paste, Garlic Paste, Garam masala powder and mustard oil. Mix well. Apply this marinade to the chicken. Put the chicken onto the skewer and roast in the tandoor (oven). When chicken is almost done, baste it with oil, roast again till done. Serve hot with onion slices and lemon wedges. Ummmmmm...my mouth is watering already!!! It tastes so awesome! One of my most favorite dishes!! All right now, this is how you can go about making the garam masala powder. You can also buy this at any Indian grocery store or you can buy it online at [Only registered and activated users can see links.
