| Hi Everyone, Just wanted to leave you with a tip on how I get tons of FREE things. Decorative items, books, clothing are just a few things I have gotten free. There is a group that is made up of members that want to prevent as much stuff from getting into the landfills as possible. If you have something that you no longer want but is still usefull you can post it on their board. Before I buy anything at all I check there first to see if anyone is giving it away. You can also post a notice for items you are looking for. It is nationwide so you can actually do a search that is specific to your city. I love it because I feel like I am at least doing a little to preserve our world. It is completly FREE. The next thing I'll be looking for is a sofa. I was not sure if I could post the name of it or not. I don't want to break any rules so I left it out. If you want I would be happy to send you the link, just let me know you want it. I don't get anything at all out of it other than the sastisfaction of knowing that when more people participate we keep more reusable things out of landfills. Hope this helps

| Re: How I Find almost anything FREE Hi and welcome to DOD! Yes, it's okay to mention Freecycle. It has been discussed here in the past, and many people have positive things to say about it. Free is always the best price ![]() |

| Re: How I Find almost anything FREE Great, I'm glad it's okay to list the site. Just go to [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or
Register Now] and sign up for free. I had a huge table and chairs once that were just too cumbersome for the small apartment I moved into. I didn't even have to drag it to the curb. I posted it on free cycle and someone requested it and came right over and picked it up. They were thrilled to get a set and I was thrilled to get the space. And, we kept another reusable item out of the landfill! ![]() ![]()

| Re: How I Find almost anything FREE I agree that Freecycle is a cool site for getting free things. It can be a life saver, if you will. You can find many things that you'd like or need. |

| Re: How I Find almost anything FREE I use freecycle all the time! I get rid of things that I no longer need and have gotten quite a bit in return. I picked up a jumperoo, crib, cradle, and other baby items a few months back. I recently picked up a very nice armoire for my daughters room and a Little Tikes Pic Nic table. I have picked up other odds and ends as well. I would highly suggest Freecycle to anyone! |

| Re: How I Find almost anything FREE It really depends on your local freecycle. On mine, you cannot post a 'wanted' without posting an offer. I think this is really great, as it has cut down on the amount of people who just came on to request items. |

| Re: How I Find almost anything FREE The address I believe is [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or
Register Now], I have it bookmarked so I don't ever type it in. If that isn't the right address, just do a search for Freecycle. |

| Re: How I Find almost anything FREE I LOVE freecycle, I've passed on all my sons clothing from newborn to 6months. an mydaughters old stuff, as well as toys, weddin decor, movies. its definetely helped me out! I got new clothes for both my kids which has helped save us hundreds of dollars... I totally recommend it! |

| Re: How I Find almost anything FREE It is a WONDERFUL program. I have been bothered by the offering of animals, though....I find that sad. However, I love the concept of keeping things out of the landfills and helping others to accquire what they need without spending.
