| Re: I save money on my long dis. phone calls
Wow, I wonder if they're in CT? I've never heard of them. Ours are 10 cents a minute if I direct dial the number, but if I buy a calling card, it's 2 cents a minute - so we go with the calling card. What are your rates, if you don't mind my asking? ![]() Kat

We have family & friends scattered all over the US, so DH signed us up for Vonage earlier this year. It's GREAT! You can keep your existing home # and aside from unlimited local calls and unlimited FREE Long-Distance w/in US & Canada, you can also forward your messages to your cell-phone OR temporarily set all calls to be forwarded to your cell-phone. Caller ID and all the goodies are included for $24.99 per month (1st three months of service is only $19.99 per month). |

Vonage IS definitely the way to go! What some may fail to realize, is that by signing up for *Vonage (*must have either HSC or DSL for this svce), they will no longer need their local phone utility company service, at all. Say, "By, by," to that bill! To reiterate some of Vonage's positives: * You can KEEP your local phone# (...That's right! Your local phone utility co., does NOT own your #)! * Other Features INCLUDE all of the following (NO extra charges!): ~ Unlimited Local & Unlimited FREE Long Distance in USA/North America (includes Canada). ~ Caller ID ~ Voice Mail w/remote access capabilities ~ Forwarding# Service ~ Reverse# Look-up ~ Block# Service I know there's other features included, but these are the ones, I can recall off the top. NOPE. I don't work for them (Vonage), nor will I list a shameless plug/link, for referral credit. Just want to let others, who have HSC (High Speed Cable) or DSL, know, that Vonage is definitely worth it!. ...and costs so much less than, most local phone co's 'basic' service alone.
