Homemade window cleaner that works great

Take equal parts ammonia, rubbing alcohol, and water, pour into a spray bottle and shake (you can find spray bottles at those dollar stores) I do this all the time, works excellent and oh so frugal, lol.

Also an old auto body shop tip for cleaning windows after the car was painted was to use newspaper as your "paper towel". It is a bit abrasive(wont scratch the glass though) and never leaves lint.

I've also just used vinegar and water for my windows, does eliminate alot of the streaks

pooncat: i use the newspaper all the time to clean my windows..i love it never leaves any lint and is great way to "do away" with all that extra paper lying around
