Good idea for Christmas presents... cheap but elegant

The least expensive cookies are the shortbread tipped with chocolate and the sugar cookies (duh... ha ha) Anyways, she has some neat ideas for decorating them. They look really pretty! There are many recipes for cookies there, too, just in case you wanted to try something different this year. Just a thought. I know that we are very budget-oriented (to put it mildly) this year ourselves, so I think this is going to be a great idea for us.
