Smile Natural Window Cleaner

Hi,

Probably the best window cleaner I've used is a very simples, basic recipe. It's 50% water to 50% white vinegar. Put it in a spray bottle and shake before use. You may run into a problem the "first" time you use it and that'll be the only time, and that's from the products that are sold in the stores. They can leave almost a wax-like substance, which you won't know till you try out the vinegar/water recipe, and then you'll see it. If that happens, wipe or spray with straight vinegar (only the first time), and then use the mixture the rest of the time.

Re: Natural Window Cleaner

lol - Get out of my head! I have used this for years and years to clean my windows. It doesn't hurt to add a bit of dish soap - just a teeny tiny bit to the mixture either. That is also what I use to clean my Mexican Saltillo Tiles Floors, that are in my entire house - not a speck of carpeting, in my carport, porch, and patio.

Hi,

LOL, too funny. The best one is that a company has actually come out with exactly the same thing that we've been using - vinegar and water, BUT, they added some pretty green dye to make it look nice - and it's lots more expensive (probably cuz it's pre-mixed and green?)!!! LOL We've found that the most natural cleaners, especially ones we can make ourselves are the best. And the least expensive!

Re: Natural Window Cleaner

Best thing to get off gummy price stickers off of photo frames too!

Plus White Vinegar run thru' drip coffee makers with a couple of water flushes cleans oils & makes your coffee pot like new too.
