Cool I Could Use Your Ideas & Tips

You would think I would be a pro at this by now but..........
here are some things I could use your thoughts on.

~Hubby may have to go on out to WY a week or two ahead of me.
I know sometimes you can get a better deal at a Hotel/Motel if you are there for awhile but it never seems like a deal.
Any ideas?

~What do/did you do while people are viewing your home?
I always get out of the house but that gets expensive because I end up going out to eat, shopping or to the Lodge.
I don't like or have a park to hang out in and there just is not much near by for me to do.
Any ideas?

~Should I sell the Player Piano or leave it with the house?
Weighs way too much to move and I have a piano at my other house.
I don't think I need one everywhere I go. Do I? Maybe I should learn how to play instead of just by ear.
Would this make even a slight difference to a buyer?

Any other advice or tips are welcome.

I can't wait till this move is over and I land in WYOMING!!!!!
Can ya tell I'm excited?

You are moving to WY?? Oh I'll miss ya! Will you still visit the Boston area occasionally? If so, we should still meet up.

Maybe you should buy/rent a book on tape. You could listen to it in your car or my library has a listening room where you can go and sit in a comfortable chair and listen to the books on tape that they have available. Some libraries also have a viewing room that provides movies, etc. or you could probably bring your own movie to watch.

Have you ever thought about volunterring somewhere? depending on how long you need to be away from your house. . . thrift stores always need volunteers or soup kitchens, maybe there is a program in your area that reads to children or visits the local nursing home.

Hope that helps.
