Re: Is this excessive?

This is so true. My ex MIL has a vacation home in Cape Cod. She takes the soap
out of the wrapper and puts it in a hanging basket to make it last longer. I think she told me she learned it from Martha Stewart!

Re: Is this excessive?

I can't remember what the site was but a scientist once tested that theory, he used several different brands and types of soap. He had two of each and let one age opened and the other still sealed in the package. He and his workers then used them for the same amount of time and same number of hand washings and found absolutely no difference at all. They all lasted just the same.

Re: Is this excessive?

i suggest maybe using a bodywash. you can put the lid back on it and it only takes a little to lather up real good. one bottle of axe body wash has lasted me since christmas 04. and its not real expensive.
