Baffled Question For The FRUGALITES..........

even though your frugal are you able to feel like your *Living Large*? Do you feel frugal or do you still manage to feel *rich*?

If so..................

how do you manage that?

As for me......
sometimes I feel RICH and sometimes I feel UNRICH.

Thumbs up

~One of the Frugal things that made me feel like I'm rich this week was the FREE Flower Arrangement ($75 value) that was delivered.
Not a gift.

cata5 is welcome here
I would be interested in knowing about that flower arrangement!

I feel rich when my kids go to school and find out what their friends have spent on different things and know we spent a fraction of that by bargain shopping or planning ahead or just waiting for a better price.

I was loving my graphing calculator purchase a couple of years ago. I paid about $60 plus I got some freebies from Staples.com. At the same time the classmates were forking over $100 at Target. I even offered to show one of the moms how to go about ordering one, but they felt more comfortable getting it at a B&M.

I feel unrich when my plastic grocery bag garbage can liner breaks. LOL

Talking

Flowers, meals out and many other goodies are all perks from working *gigs*.

See other thread.

~Another thing that makes me feel like I'm Living Large instead of Frugal is using nice or the good China. Simple but it works.

~One thing that makes me feel UnRich is sending my dh to work with his lunch & whatever in a plastic store bag. He does not use his briefcase.

Even though I will have to watch my pennies very closely, very soon, I will feel like I'm living VERY large after October 17th. That's my last day at work.

I've worked for the last 26 years (since I graduated from college, and I did work before that, but for some reason, I don't count that). I will be retired!!! I can't hardly wait.

I never thought we would be able to afford for me to not work at this point, but I know we can do it, and it's so worth it not to have to deal with the stresses of work anymore!!!!

Yeap! I know that feeling well. Days to myself at my house, doing what I want and no pressure. That IS a good feeling Pip.
Even with the little *Gigs* I do now, I feel that way because I can work them if I want or turn them down.
