| Since I LOVE maps & dh does too........................ I was wondering if you could wallpaper a wall with different ones? I think this could be the answer to a blah office that I have not started on yet. Would you iron them first? Could you spray it with that stuff you spray on your art work to protect it? ANY IDEAS?????? __________________ Check out these [Only registered and activated users can see links. | It can definitely be done. I've seen 'HOW TO' demonstrations. But don't remember details. In a hurry to leave for vacation, otherwise I'd do some searching for you. Actually thought to do it son's room. So look around and you will DEFINITELY find a step by step method. |

| You can paper a wall with just about anything. Just lay out the pattern that you want to start with and always work your way down the wall. The steps are really easy - my sister did this with menus from various restaurants & it turned out really well ![]() First you'd have to prep it - clean it & paint it with a flat base coat. Then you'd have to spray the backs with wallpaper glue (I'd use the spray instead of the paste because it's easier to work with) and then attach them to the wall - work out an interesting pattern first and then spray them in order just before you attach them. Personally, I think they'd be a little more appealing if you did them at odd angles with some overlapping. We did the spraying as two people - I sprayed & she placed them on the wall. This way the glue didn't have time to dry, but if you had a stack of maps, I suppose you could spray & hang but only spray the back of one at a time or else the glue will dry before you get to the next one.Let the wall dry at least 24 hours - we let hers go for 48 hours between coats so that we knew it was dry all the way through. Finish the wall off with a non-yellowing sealer or laquer coat. That way the maps will be less likely to want to peal and also they'll be protected so you can clean the walls off with a damp sponge. It's actually pretty easy - the worst part was waiting for the wall to dry after cleaning, again after painting, etc. __________________ Check out these [Only registered and activated users can see links.
