| OH...the dishes Hey there! So I'm moving into a new place and my roommates and I were looking for some cheap dishes. I'm not really one for spending a lot of time in the kitchen, so I wanted something I could easily throw into the microwave and the dishwasher, wherever. : ) Anyways, I work for Corelle and found out about a great deal on a 20-piece set of Corelle dishes at Wal-Mart...they're offering like a $4 rebate off of 1 set or $10 off 2 sets. Its normally only like $30 for 20-pieces - and its even better with the rebate. Hee hee...we were happy with that. (oh you can print out the rebates at [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or

| Re: OH...the dishes Hi, I still have an old set of Corelle dishes that we use everyday, and we love them. I guess we're lucky none have broken as we've (by mistake) dropped them before I cook a lot so they really get lots of use. No complaints about Corelle! Have fun in your new place ![]() Kat |

| Re: OH...the dishes I have figured out that Corelle does not break it shatters and when it does so it gets dangerous however they are cheap, cool quickly, light, and above all you can do almost anything to them just don't put one on the stove. |

| Re: OH...the dishes I love those dishes. I usually find mine at our local thrift store for about $.25 per plate. I am a thrift store junkie. They last forever. I cannot tell you how many times I have dropped them and they just do a sorta bounce on the ground and stay in one piece, not even a chip. |
