Anyone have a good recipe for the crock pot?

With school back in and all the after school activities I try to use my crock pot a lot more. Does anyone have a good crock pot recipe?

I hope this hasn't been posted before--I did a search but didn't find anything.

Teresa

Lots of good recipe sites online although I've never tried to find specifically crock pot recipes.

Here's a quickie:

Dump in chicken pieces (thighs or whatever) and a big jar of Pace or other salsa/picante sauce -- can use hot to mild sauce depending on your family's tastes. Cook on low all day.

The chicken just falls off bones, skin falls off, etc. Pull the chicken pieces out of sauce and serve rolled up in warm tortillas. Can add whatever extras you want i.e. rice, sour cream, beans, lettuce, tomato, etc.

Wonderful taste and no fuss.

I buy a bottle of marinade.......usually teriyaki and place boneless chicken breast in the crockpot and then add the marinade on it and turn it on low. By the time I get home it is done and all I ahve to worry about is the veggies that don't take no time to fix!

Also soup is good.......throw in a few canes of veg-all and some beef broth and tomato sauce and salt and some beef stew meat and cook on low and when you get home it is done! YUMMY!! And great for those cool days!

I am trying this one today, but using chicken breasts as that is what I have. This sounds like a good way to use cheap leg quarters though.
