So, with the two of you who got your GC, when did you do the test drive? And how long did it take to get the GC?

I went to the dealership last week and mailed in the next day.

I did my test drive and sent it out almost as soon as it was posted and haven't received mine yet. Keeping my fingers crossed tho..I could use it for Christmas!

i got mine in approx 3 wks. havent gotten the Izusu yet, and i did it before this one.

How much time does it take to do the test drive? Is it high pressure? Do they contact you afterwards and bug you?

I've done about 4 of these with Buick and Suzuki. Never been bugged. Not time consuming and the last time it took all of 5 minutes because I live in Maryland, and the certificate specifically states that in Maryland and actual test drive is not needed.

The prior Buick one took all of maybe six weeks to come (money card)

The Suzuki, took maybe two weeks at the most to come back (Bed, Bath and Beyond gift card).

It's nice when you can get it and it's interesting to check out the cars.

no problems at all, and sometimes dont even have to test drive!
just tell the salesman ahead of time, u're not interested in buying, i usually tell them my DH received, but didnt want to do.
i rec Buick really quick, but have not gotten the Isuzu, Chyrsler, Suzuki, or Ford yet. The target GCs on the Saturn came quick, and i believe they are still doing, just request a brochure and a postcard should come with it. i did the Saturn back first part of summer, have 3 more to do, son's, DH, and mine -- exp Oct 15. Need to allow 90 days between so i'm waiting until almost deadline. These make great gifts! and i usually request for DH, son, and daughter. Some however, or only one per HH, but Buick/ Saturn rec 4 here.

To ShainaT who asked if you have to actually go to the dealership to take advantage of the offer:

YES!!

In Maryland you don't have to actually drive the car, just present the certificate to a salesperson, they fill in the dealer info and you present your driver's license to them. Take the completed certificate and mail it in.

Went to the dealership this past weekend and mailed the certificate off on Monday! This was my first one and it was very easy!

Hope the gift card comes soon!
