I did this deal last year but at that time they were charging for shipping. It was still a good deal though, its a lot nicer than my old glucometer. I don't remember giving insurance info to them though.

This is strange. The lady I talked to about getting one for my mother asked what kind of insurance she had. I think I will try to call again to see what they say. It would make a great Christmas present for anyone who is diabetic that can't afford one because they don't have the insurance to cover it.

I'm getting into that Christmas spirit of giving.
