These work for shopping online Just like a mastercard. The only place I know of that you cannot spend the $5.00 is at flooz.
If you have never signed up for a webcertificate and have a paid email address like aol, msn, compuserve, etc....you can get one but if you have a free email address you wont qualify....such as hotmail, netzero, etc..
