Ok, if you remember doing that survey, watch your email!
I received email stating

"Thank you for visiting WingspanBank and supporting academic research by
completing the on-line survey.

In order to send you the award, we need your full name, home mailing
address, and social security number, as required by the Internal Revenue
Service. Your information will only be used to distribute the award and
will not be retained for marketing purposes.
For your security, please call the Wingspan Customer Care Center at
888-736-8611 with your information. Subject: Academic Research Survey Incentive."

I called in and gave the info they asked for and there sending me a $100 GC to amazon.com... HAPPY,HAPPY-JOY,JOY

I know they kept changing the amount of the survey, $10, $20, $50, & $100... I got lucky and done the $100 survey.

I hope all of you that done this survey gets lucky and receives there GC.

I got the mail too and was worried about why they really needed my Social Security number. Did they still ask you for it? Did they say anything about why they needed it besides the IRS? I am freaking...I want the GC but am afraid about who I am giving this info to. Please settle my fears here...LOL

The SS# I think is ok to give because the 888# is the WingspanBank number.
There asking for your SS# for taxes, because its a bank they must do that. If it was by email or the internet i would have not given out my SS#, but sense it was by phone and direct to there bank i gave it.

TO ME, it was safe to give it out!

Crazycorky, did they tell you it was for $100? That's cool! They wouldn't tell me what mine was for(amount)!

Yes, and no!!

When i called i stated i did a survey were i was to receive a $100 gc, then she says yes and asked for me info a said my GC should be here in 7-10 days.
So when i said i did a the survey for a $100 GC and that was what i was to receive, she said yes meaning the way she said it, it was a $100. gc.
So the better send me the $100. because that what was to receive!

fter doing countless wonderful deals over the past year--most --if not all, being deals found here; I always felt a sort of guilt for being the "taker", not "giver" of clues on where deals were to be had. I can finally rejoice that I posted a great deal w/results--It's nice seeing smiling faces after a long day--and knowing you had something to do with it! Thanks everyone for all your terrific work! I look forward to coming here for relaxation after a busy day!

It will be mailed snail mail tomorrow morning. BEST FREEBIE I EVER GOT! (if i get it-but it looks like I will)

The only email that I recieved was one telling me to call Wingspan bank. When I called, they asked for my social security #, name and address and said that my "award" would be sent out by the begining of August. When I first did the survey, I signed up for a $100 cash, but the when I called, they didn't tell me what I would recieve. They didn't even ask me my email address

Whew! I just made it for this one! I got my e-mail a while ago, then just saved it as new and figured I'd check into it later (didn't like the SSN requirement either, and wanted to think about it ) When I looked at that e-mail this AM, I found that MY deadline was TODAY at 3PM EST (and I'm on the West Coast.) Made it in time by only about three hours!

I don't know what I got -- I asked and the woman didn't have that info. If I remember correctly, it was down to $50 when I did the survey -- but HEY! That's a free $50, so no complaints here

Sorry there was no email address that came with there email. But if you goto there web site i'm sure you can fine a email address, [Only registered and activated users can see links. Either login above or Register Now]

If i was you, i would call there 800# i'm sure you'll have better luck that way then by email.

I called them Thursday. I asked why they needed the ss# and the lady gave the phone to her boss and he asked what the problem was. Anyway.... after all the confusion I forgot to ask what the GC was for and how much.
